Thanks to it’s perfect location, this picturesque beach town has great weather all year round. The climate in Paracas is mostly temperate and sunny, with average temperatures between 15.5°C and 22°C. Any month of the year is good to visit Paracas but if you are really looking for the warmest time to visit this beautiful bay then plan for January, February and March. February is generally hot, with temperatures reaching 85°F (29°C) and rarely dropping below 68°F (20°C) at night.

As mentioned before, every month is a good time to visit Paracas, although there are times when it gets busy. March, April and May tend to be high seasons, tourists (national and international) flock the town in search of the ocean and activities. The town is divided in 2 areas. One area is the touristic part of town. Most hotels, bars, and restaurants will be found here. It’s one of Peru’s safest areas, although it’s always good advice that you always keep an eye on your belongings like in any other touristic city.

The other area of the town is called Paracas Pueblo, which is the part where most locals live. It’s likely that you won’t have the need to go there since there are no touristic activities there.

Summer(December to March):

The weather is at its best this time of the year in Paracas. The average high is between 85°F (29°C) and 77°F (25°C), which makes it the best time to visit Paracas to enjoy the sunny and warm weather.

Fall (March to June):

The average temperature goes from 84°F (29°C) and 74°F (23°C) and its known as the humid season. It’s the busiest time for tourism so if you enjoy hot weather and meeting new people, it’s your time to go.

Winter (June to September):

During these months, there is cool weather and high temperatures. This perfect combination is the reason why August is the second busiest season for tourism in this town.

Spring (September to December):
