What is the weather like in Paracas:

This beautiful bay is a privileged destination since it´s located a few kilometers from the capital and also because of its subtropical climate that makes it the perfect area for different entertainment and adventure activities.

The climate in Paracas is temperate and sunny all year round, with average temperatures between 15.5°C and 22°C. Any month of the year is good to visit Paracas but if you are really looking for the warmest time to visit this beautiful bay then the hottest months are January, February and March. February is generally very hot, the temperature is 84.9°F (29.4°C) with temperatures rarely dropping below 68.1°F (20.1°C) at night.

When is the best time to visit Paracas:

As we said before, all year is a good time to visit Paracas but the really busiest months are March, April and May. In these months Paracas receives the biggest amount of tourists (national and international) who go there to spend some time near the ocean and enjoy the nice weather. It’s good to point out that prices for hotels could be more expensive during these months. So it’s recommended for you to book your hotel and tours in advance to avoid paying more money.

Is Paracas safe to visit?

Paracas is divided in 2 areas, the first area would be like the tourist part of the town, hotels, bars, restaurants that are near to the bay side. This area is super safe but is good advice that you always keep an eye on your belongings just in case.

The other area of the town is called Paracas Pueblo, which is the part where the inhabitants of Paracas live. Usually if you are a tourist you won’t have the need to go there because these are just houses and there are no touristic activities there.

Fall (March to June):

The average temperature in these months are 83.8°F (28.8°C) and 73.6°F (23.1°C). This season is very humid which makes it very warm. Also, this is a busy time for tourism so
if you enjoy hot weather and meeting new people it’s your time to go.

Winter (June to September):

During these months there is cool weather and high temperatures. This combination is very nice and that’s the reason why August is the second busiest season for tourism in this town.

Spring (September to December):

The weather during this season is windy and humid, but still comfortable. Tourism is slowest during these months due to the weather so it’s most likely you find good deals in accommodation and tours.
